Flooring: A Top Return-On-Investment Project.

The latest Remodeling Impact Report (2019) published by the National Association of Realtors takes a deep dive into the reasons for remodeling, the success of taking on projects, and the increased happiness found in the home once a project is completed. It’s no surprise that flooring renovations are consistently ranking at the top of the report’s metrics:

  • Return On Investment: Homeowners can expect to recover 106% of flooring project costs through home price appreciation.

  • Remodeling Motivations: Out the surveyed households who completed flooring renovations, 52% did so to upgrade their existing structure and 15% did so for stylistic change.

  • Home Desirability: 78% of those who completed flooring renovations had a greater desire to be home since completing the project.

  • Accomplishment: 78% of those who completed flooring renovations felt a major sense of accomplishment.
